Hidden among the paradise islands of the Maldives you will find the Embudu Village, a simple resort on one of the smallest islands. The resort is a favourite with divers as it's favourable location allows you to experience a whole host of underwater adventures.

The island itself is an array of tropical plants and towering palms which fringe the idyllic white sands. Embudu is a beach lover's dream! ... and the resort provides sunbeds and rope swings for you to lounge away the hours on.

The basic nature of Embudu Village means that life revolves around the beach and the warm waters of the Indian Ocean. However, the hotel has also recently opened a new spa facility (Serena Spa).

As the sun goes down there is always a cool cocktail to be sipped on the beach bar terrace. This little taste of paradise would ideally suit couples and those looking to explore the underwater wonders Embudu has to offer.

Transfer time is about 45 minutes by fast dhoni from Male airport.
